Responsibilities
- Create 3D characters and environments: Transform visual concepts into detailed and realistic 3D models that align with the project’s artistic vision.
- Technical functionality: Ensure that all models are optimized and technically functional within game engines, maintaining both quality and performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with concept artists and animators to ensure seamless integration of models into the production pipeline.
- Refinement: Continuously refine and improve models based on feedback from the team to achieve the highest level of detail and realism.
- Asset management: Organize and maintain the 3D assets library, ensuring that models are correctly named, structured, and ready for implementation.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a 3D Modeler, with a strong portfolio showcasing character and environment modeling skills.
- Software proficiency: Expertise in 3D modeling software like Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max, and familiarity with sculpting tools like ZBrush.
- Technical knowledge: Understanding of game engine requirements, including polygon count limitations and optimization techniques for real-time rendering.
- Attention to detail: Keen eye for detail and the ability to create models that are both visually appealing and technically sound.
- Team player: Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with other artists and designers.
