Responsibilities
- Lead visual concept creation: Develop characters, environments, and other visual elements that set the artistic tone for the project.
- Define the visual style: Act as the key figure in defining the project’s visual style, ensuring that all visual components align with the overall vision.
- Guide and mentor: Oversee and guide other artists on the team, providing feedback and setting quality standards to maintain visual consistency.
- Client communication: Effectively communicate with clients, translating their needs and expectations into visual concepts that meet their objectives.
- Continuous innovation: Propose new ideas and artistic approaches that drive the project forward and keep Evolve Games at the forefront of visual design.
Requirements
- Proven experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Concept Artist, with a strong portfolio showcasing skills in character and environment design.
- Artistic leadership: Experience in leading art teams and the ability to define and maintain a cohesive visual style across multiple projects.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and 3D creation software that supports the concept art process.
- Clear communication: Ability to clearly convey visual ideas and receive feedback constructively, both with internal teams and clients.
- Creativity and innovation: A proactive mindset with the ability to think creatively, always seeking new ways to enhance the visual impact of projects.
